Marjorie Howe, LCSW has been a practicing clinical social worker since 1976. She has spent her career working in many settings and with a wide variety of people. She currently she is a partner in Carolina Partners in Mental Healthcare, PLLC. Her practice is located in Cary, NC. Her Prior to working in her current practice, she worked for many years specializing in treating eating disorders and depression in women. She has also practiced as a geriatric care manager.

Margie’s philosophy has always been centered on creating self-learning within the context of seeking solutions for problems. A first step is always followed by the next step, and the next step, after that one. Change is preceded by a past, but cannot happen unless there is direction into the future. While the future may not be clear and distinct, it does offer the possibility of clarity and hope. Growth and change are best created in an atmosphere of positive outcomes with a skilled helper along the way.

Margie is a gardener, a fairly good cook, loves to read and to travel, enjoys relaxing with handiwork of all types.
In the past she has been active in many professional organizations and political campaigns.
She collects teapots and North Carolina Pottery.
